Resources for WDA members and visitors

At the WDA, we embrace the sharing of knowledge and have a range of resources designed to be accessed by as many people as possible.

The Journal of Wildlife Diseases - which is available to Regular, Student, Discounted Associate and Discounted Student WDA members and also offered free to residents of 136 countries around the world. In addition it offers many open access articles on myriad species and topics.

BioOne - is available to to Regular, Student and Discounted Student WDA members who can tap into more than 217 different journals and publications.

WDA's Quarterly magazine - is open access for anyone who would like to find out what's happening across the WDA membership and also in the wider wildlife world. Check out the current issue as well as the two decades of archives.

Grant Report and Special Topics - contains the results of just some of WDA's grant recipients with some unique titles including horseshoe crab necropsy and tapir welfare. Again these are open access.

For our members we also have a link to the proceedings of the WDA 2023 conference in Athens, Georgia, USA,  Out of Print books and an incredible archive of articles from the original WDA publication Wildlife Disease spanning 1959 to 1975.

There is also a specially-curated list of JWD articles showcasing aquatic animal research for our Aquatic Animal members.
