WDA Small Grants

Purpose
Grants are awarded for a non-research based project that has defined and measurable goals that support the WDA mission; “to promote healthy wildlife and ecosystems, biodiversity conservation, and environmentally sustainable solutions to One Health challenges.”

Wildlife Veterinary Section Grant

Purpose
The purpose of this grant is to support activities that promote the health and welfare of free-ranging wildlife through research, application and dissemination of knowledge, or capacity building. Proposals for WDA WVS funding may include research, citizen science, or specific activities that benefit education about wildlife diseases. 

Applications for the 2025 grant of up to $10,000 are ARE NOW CLOSED

Experiment - WDA Crowdfunded Challenge Grant

Purpose
Since 2018, the WDA has partnered annually with the science crowdfunding site Experiment to run a Wildlife Health and Disease Challenge grant.
